Care Guidelines
Follow these simple steps to keep your jewelry looking its best:
- Remove your jewelry before swimming, bathing, exercising, sleeping, doing household chores or using abrasive cleaners.
- Always apply beauty products before putting on your jewelry.
- Never overstretch elastic bands—roll them over your hand to put them on or take them off.
- Gemstones are softer than diamonds and can chip or scratch if not treated with care.
- Sterling silver is very prone to tarnishing. Lower the likelihood of tarnishing by making sure your items are stored in a cool, dry place.
- Make sure your jewelry is completely dry before storing, and always store it in the LA Designs custom pouch to avoid scratching. Buff gold-plated jewelry with a microfiber cloth.
- Keep gold-plated jewelry in a cool, dry place, away from humidity to keep it looking fresh. Excessive use will cause tarnishing if not properly taken care of. It’s a matter of keeping it away from salt, water, sweat and high humidity. However, if your jewels are exposed to the products or water some tarnishing may occur. Additionally, your own pH may impact the life cycle of your jewelry.
Sizing
Bracelet Size
Hold your arm with your hand relaxed and fingers gently outstretched. With your other hand, wrap a soft measuring tape or ribbon around your wrist where you would like to wear the bracelet. If using a ribbon, measure the length against a ruler. Don’t pull it too tight to ensure a good fit. It’s best not to wear stretch bracelets too tight!
Ring Size
It is hard to determine a ring size at home, and best to go to a local jeweler to determine your ring size.
Necklace Lengths
Our necklaces come in different lengths which are noted in the product description. See the illustration to note where the length of the necklace will fall when worn.
Shorter length are from 14" collar to 20" matinee lengths, with longer ranging from 24" opera to 32" rope.
Shipping
Shipping Timeframe
For products in stock, the typical turnaround time is 5-7 business days for shipping. Items not on hand at the time of order will ship in approximately 4-6 weeks from the order date. Please anticipate up to 3 days before shipping for any handcrafted designs.
Overnight and 2nd day shipping are available for an additional fee. LA is not responsible for any delays or other issues that may arise when shipping. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number.
Please choose from options at checkout for expedited shipping needs. Expedited orders placed after 3 PM ET Monday - Thursday will ship the following business day, and orders placed on Friday after 11AM ET will ship the following Monday. For Express Shipments, we are not responsible if the shipping service fails to meet the overnight or 2 day service commitment.
Free Shipping
Free shipping on all orders of $100 or more.
International Shipping
At this time, Laurenambledesigns.com is unable to ship to any international addresses or process international credit cards.
PO Boxes or APO/FPO Addresses
At this time, Lauren Amble Designs is unable to offer shipping to P.O. boxes and APO/FPO addresses.
Returns, Exchanges & Repairs
Refund Policy
We will gladly accept unworn, undamaged or defective product purchased from laurenambledesigns.com for exchange or refund. If not totally satisfied, a full refund will be issued upon receipt of returned item within 15 days of receiving your product. All sale items are final sale.
Custom orders, one-of-a-kind pieces, gift cards, and items marked ‘FINAL SALE’ may not be returned or exchanged. Pieces discounted during promotional periods are also not eligible for return.
If you purchase an item at full price using a discount code, we will accept the return and issue a refund or credit. You will be refunded for the dollar amount paid for the item.
If you would like to exchange an item you purchased at one of our retail partners, please contact them directly to initiate that process.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Damaged goods due to buyers' negligence will be sent back to the customer. For hygiene purposes, earrings cannot be returned. In the event of a return, all taxes and shipping fees will not be refunded.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Warranty
Lauren Amble Designs offers a replacement policy for jewelry that is damaged (outside of normal wear and tear) within six months of purchase from laurenambledesigns.com. If you are inquiring about a piece purchased from one of Lauren Amble Designs stockists, please reach out to them directly.
Jewelry is delicate and fragile. Damaged goods due to buyers’ negligence will not be considered for repair. This includes cracked or broken gemstones or shells, items that have been bent out of shape or twisted and snapped, or metals that have oxidized or on which the plating is fading. We are committed to producing top quality jewelry with superior plating thickness. However, if your jewels are exposed to products or water some tarnishing may occur. Additionally, your own pH may impact the life cycle of your jewelry.
